Solid Cantonese seafood restaurant with hearty portions. Restaurant is well lit and clean with a few private rooms by the entrance. Staff was courteous and quick to seat and serve us. Dinner comes with complimentary mango pudding and pumpkin sago soup (perfect end to a large meal). Definitely come early to beat the dinner rush, particularly if visiting on the weekend or major holiday. We came by on New Year's Day for dinner and the place filled up extremely quick once the clock hit 6 pm.

We have been coming here for the past few months for all family gatherings. It is a Cantonese style restaurant which I believe is related to the Chinatown branch of Wu's Wonton King. Having enjoyed many meals at Wu's this one in comparison is lacking in service. The food is pretty decent if you come here for dinner. We usually get family style dishes. Portions are big. I have enjoyed the walnut shrimp, black bean clams, garlic pea shoots and of course the wontons. They have family combo specials but it will usually come with one undesirable dish like fish lips which has a pretty bad texture and taste. They have lobster noodles which we tried but I think we would have preferred the lobster rice instead to get that seafood infused goodness. We did enjoy the red bean soup and mango cake for dessert. The wait staff are not good at clearing the dishes or tables and have taken dishes with food on it and have also spilled water on one of us. The bathrooms are pretty gross. We have also had to sit on those cheap plastic stools instead of real chairs. I don't understand why they don't have enough chairs in a restaurant. This place can get pretty crowded. Even with reservations I have had to wait over 30 minutes. The guy who takes the reservations and seats you although not rude is close to it and not welcoming at all. The line for dinner time is usually a horde of people pressed up against the doors waiting to get in. Remember to take a number from him or call in advance. Come here for a regular family style meal but don't expect great service.

Typical Cantonese food. Came here the night before Thanksgiving at 7pm and thought it would be slow but it was hopping! We had about a 10 minute wait for a table. Service was fast but they forgot my diet Coke. I thought the food was decent but everything was just a bit too salty for my taste. The flavors weren't bad, however, and the waitstaff was attentive changing out our plate at least 4 times during dinner. Almost every table had a lobster or crab order which made me wonder why they don't use metal buckets for the shells vs switching out our small plates throughout dinner. I would comeback here again. It beats going to Main Street and dealing with the traffic and crowds.

Listen ya'll, idk what they put in their food but the food here is legit tasty. It is MY FAVE family dinner spot to celebrate birthdays and celebrations. I don't even have pictures because there is no time to waste when the dishes arrive. My go-to dishes are salt and pepper squid, crispy noodles, wonton soup, lamb chops, pea shoots, and lobster. At the end, they give you delicious mango jello. Everyone we go as a family, there are limited leftovers, if any. It is a must try if you love Cantonese food!

Great lunch specials for $9.99 and up and dinner is always a great time here with family and friends. We always call to reserve an early time for family dinners since it gets to packed by 6pm the line is out the door. Service is great and food does come out fast. My daughter loves their salt and pepper pork chop dish. My favorite breakfast/lunch is the steamed rice rolls with peanut and soy sauce. The rice rolls are pillowy soft, melt in your mouth! Another favorite is their bone broth wonton soup. So much flavor.

Very popular Chinese Cantonese restaurant. I've gotten takeout from GWK many times but decided to dine in this time. The food was good although the service was irritating. Stir Fried Clams with Minced Pork was delicious, I found myself spooning the clams and pork bits on top of my rice to add flavor. The Fried Pork Chops might have been a tad over done but very crunchy and tasty, not too much fatty bites that might the case with this dish. Shrimp Fried Rice, Half Garlic Fried Chicken, & Garlic Snow Pea Leaves were all yummy. I didn't snap shots of these, my dining companions were all too hungry. LOL. You'll have to take my word that it was pretty good as well. Popularity has a price though, dining in didn't just feel like, but was extremely rushed. Looking over at another table nearby it looks like the norm here. I fully understand the need for turnover but service shouldn't be this rushed. I had waiters coming by every ten minutes to consolidate plates and put food on diner plates. No one would ever say I eat slow, nor my companions, so this was a huge turnoff. As long as the food is good the customers will return.

Always an excellent meal here. Probably the best wonton noodle soup anywhere. Comes in either regular soup or a cloudy bone broth. So good you'll want to drink the entire bowl. Also known for its fresh seafood. Dimsim for lunch. Freshly prepared. Everything else is also superb. Can't recommend this place enough. And also very good service

I love this restaurant. It satisfies all my canto-food cravings and more! We stopped by for dinner and it was so delicious. We ordered the lobster rice again (you must get this! Served with 2 whole lobsters and stick rice), eggplant with chicken, water spinach and beef with vermicelli noodles. All cooked to canto-style perfection. The service was excellent, all servers were attentive and quick. And also parking is easy, there is street parking! And on Sundays northern blvd is free. I also purchased frozen wontons to-go! I literally crave their wontons during the week!

Best deal in flushing for cantonese lunch special!!! $10 for lunch!!! Tax not included extensive menu from veggies, pork, seafood, beef and chicken. Comes with rice and soup. Done takeout and sit in. Quality is the same for both. I would come again definitely. Service was fast for pick up. Lots of locals dining in. That's a good indicator of the value this place has!
